ACHS visit to Achnacarry 13th October

Brief details of the programme.

11.00 a.m.  Arrive at the Cameron Museum at Achnacarry  to meet with Donald Cameron of Lochiel and the Museum staff and tour the museum

Visit to Achnacarry Castle for a brief tour of the house, courtesy of Lochiel. (It is currently undergoing some building work so the visit will be restricted).

12.45 leave for The Moorings Hotel, Banavie, Fort William, PH33 7LY

13.15 arrive at The Moorings Hotel for a light lunch, cost £10 per person for soup, sandwiches, tea/coffee and baking.  Payable to Anne Maclean of Dochgarroch on the day, I will settle with the hotel.

14.30 leave The Moorings for The West Highland Museum, Cameron Square, Fort William,  PH33 6AJ 

15.00 arrive at The West Highland Museum for a tour of the museum and talk from the staff.  The museum has agreed to extend their opening time until 16.30 for us.
